This red wine from Cantina Giustini is part of the DESIGN line, wines that can best express the greatness of native grapes without neglecting a touch of style. The grapes used for its production are pure Primitivo and come from the vineyards of San Giorgio Ionico, Taranto: the vineyards have an average age of 25-30 years and benefit from medium-textured soils, with a good percentage of clay. After collecting the bunches during the last days of September, we proceed with destemming and pressing. This is followed by maceration and alcoholic fermentation for 8-10 days at controlled temperature and finally refinement in steel.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
It has a deep ruby red color. The olfactory notes refer to plum, blackberry, berries and balsamic sensations. On the palate it is soft and with good persistence.
