Wine description
This red wine from the Apulian Varvaglione winery is made from 100% Primitivo grapes. Following the harvest, maceration takes place at a controlled temperature of 24-28 C° with subsequent malolactic fermentation. The final stage of ageing takes place in American barriques for 3 months.
Characteristics of this wine from Apulia
It has an intense red colour. The olfactory notes recall ripe plums, cherries and cocoa as well as vanilla and spices. on the palate it has a dense tannic texture.
Recommended pairings with this Apulian red wine
Try it with pizza, pasta and mature cheeses. serve at a temperature of 16-18 C°.
