The Martinotti method, on the other hand, is carried out with a refermentation in large containers where the pressure is constantly controlled.
The spumante moscato is considered one of the most famous of Piedmont and is made mainly in the area of Asti with 100% white muscat berries and is characterized by its persistent foam and color ranging from straw to golden, accompanied by a sweet and balanced taste. The wines of this area were among the first to obtain the DOC safeguards.
In the Alta Langa area are produced Piedmontese sparkling wines with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir 100%, Marly and clayey soils surround medium-high hills that rise around 250 meters around the river Tanaro.
