Wine description
This white wine from the Belisario winery in the Marche region is made from Verdicchio grapes grown at an altitude of about 360 metres above sea level with southern exposure. The vinification process involves cold static decanting of the must, followed by 30 days of fermentation at 17°C in steel tanks. This is followed by 16 months of ageing in concrete tanks with weekly stirring of the fine lees.
Characteristics of this Marche wine from the Belisario winery
It has a bright yellow colour: the bouquet is reminiscent of white fruit and fresh flowers, while the palate is mineral, fresh and with a long finish.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from the Marche region
Try it with medium-aged cheeses, elaborate fish dishes and white meats. Serve at a temperature of 12-14°C.
