Wine description
This Nadir sparkling wine from Belisario Winery is made from 100% Verdicchio grapes grown in Fogliano, in the hinterland of the province of Macerata. The vineyards are located in a hilly area with clayey-calcareous soil. After the grapes are harvested by hand, they undergo reduction vinification with temperature-controlled dry ice, followed by the Charmat method and a long tirage of at least 6 months.
Characteristics of this Nadir sparkling wine
It has a straw yellow colour and a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet is reminiscent of green apple, peach, white flowers and bread crust. On the palate, it is persistent and intense with a citrus aftertaste.
Recommended pairings with this wine from Belisario
Excellent with sushi, seafood appetisers, and first courses with vegetables and fish. Serve at a temperature of 6-8°C.
