This fragrant and captivating white wine from the Piedmontese winery Marziano Abbona is made from pure Favorita grapes, an ancient grape variety. After the harvest, we proceed with pressing with stems and soft pressing with film maceration for two hours. This is followed by static decantation and debarking with selected yeasts followed by alcoholic fermentation in steel for 13 days. The aging on the yeasts takes place over a period of one month in steel until bottling.
Characteristics of this Favorita wine
It has a straw-yellow color with a greenish sheen. The olfactory profile evokes herbaceous and vegetal notes of grass and wildflowers as well as fresh fruit, peach and apricot first and foremost. On the palate, a sensation of freshness dominates.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Piedmont
