From the name of the heron that peeks out from the lake overlooking the vineyards comes this white wine from the Piedmontese winery Marziano Abbona, made from pure Viognier grapes. Once harvested during the harvest, destemming and pressing are carried out for 36 hours at 12°C; this is followed by racking and soft pressing with racking in 225-liter French acacia and oak barrels. We then proceed with 20-day alcoholic fermentazone, with final aging on the yeasts for 6 months.
Characteristics of this Piedmont wine
It has a bright yellow color, with golden reflections. Balsamic, aromatic and fruity notes create the range of olfactory sensations. On the palate it is rich, complex, pleasantly fresh.
Recommended pairings with this white wine
Try it with aperitifs, hot fish appetizers, sushi, tartare, spaghetti with clams and fried foods. Serve at 8°C.
