Wine description
From Viognier grapes from Castagnole Monferrato and Castiglione Tinella comes this fruity white wine from the Piedmontese winery Montalbera. The white vinification takes place with soft pressing of the pomace and the ageing takes place in steel and then in the bottle, placed horizontally.
Characteristics of this Piedmontese wine
On organoleptic examination it has a crystalline straw yellow colour and very intense olfactory notes reminiscent of fresh fruit and wild flowers. On the palate it is slightly mineral, with good balance and persistence.
Tasting suggestions for this Piedmont white wine
Try it with fish dishes, from starters to first and second courses. Also excellent with earthy main courses. Serve at a temperature of 8/10°C.
