Montalbera produces this sensational red wine that has the DOC denomination. It is a blend composed by 60% Barbera and 40% Ruchè. The plants are trained with Guyot method. The traditional red wine making considers a light over-maturation of the grapes. The aging is developed in steel containers. Then, the wine continues its maturation in the bottle, where it rests horizontally at controlled temperature. This red is unique, “Fuori Catalogo” is a blend that wants to represent and to give value to varieties that are considered “less important” than others. A special red that satisfy for its high quality and its lightness. This product represents Piedmont in the whole nation.
Features of this red wine of Piedmont
Ruby red colour with orange shades that intensify with the aging. Its intense perfume is characterized by red fruits and apricot. Its taste is delicate, smooth and structured, with hints that recall wild fruits and marmalade.

A versatile wine that is excellent with “agnolotti al ragù”. It has to be served at 16°C in a high, wide wine glass that allows the diffusion of the perfumes.
