“Borgoletto” is the most representative white wine and produced in the largest quantity by Fasoli Gino. It is considered the paradigm of typicality and pleasantness of the winery, an authentic expression of the Soave territory and the corporate philosophy based on freshness, balance and drinkability. It is born from 100% Garganega grapes grown in vineyards located on silty-sandy and calcareous soils in the Verona area. Production involves a manual harvest that takes place between the first days of September and mid-October. The grapes are subjected to cold film maceration for approximately 10–15 hours at 6–8 °C, followed by soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature for approximately 10 days, followed by aging in steel to preserve the freshness of the wine.
Characteristics of this wine from the Veneto
On organoleptic examination it appears with a bright straw yellow color. The bouquet is fruity and floral, with notes of apple, pear, white flowers and light mineral and saline nuances. On the palate it is fresh, harmonious and balanced, with good structure, well-integrated acidity and a pleasantly slightly bitter finish reminiscent of almonds.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Fasoli Gino
It pairs perfectly with light appetizers, fish dishes, vegetable soups, delicate risottos and fresh cheeses. It is also ideal as an aperitif due to its immediacy and drinkability. The recommended service temperature is about 10 °C.
