This Soave Classico white wine from Prà Winery is made exclusively from Garganega grapes grown in the Ponsara Cru. The vineyards are planted on volcanic soil and benefit from a cool climate with good rainfall. The harvest takes place between September and October, followed by destemming and soft pressing, vinification in steel at uncontrolled temperatures and therefore with spontaneous fermentation, hence the name “wild”.
Characteristics of this Veneto wine
It has a bright straw yellow colour; the bouquet offers a range of floral notes of broom and hawthorn, as well as fruity notes of green apple. On the palate, it is strikingly fresh and balanced.
Recommended pairings with this white wine
Excellent with typical dishes of the Venetian culinary tradition: bigoli al ragù (pasta with meat sauce) and risotto with bruscandoli (hop shoots). Also try it with fish dishes such as baked whitefish and raw fish. Serve at a temperature of 8-10°C.
