Bardolino DOC “Corte del Pozzo” by Fasoli Gino is an organic red wine born on the hills overlooking Lake Garda, in an area characterized by moraine soils rich in clay, stone, and sand. The grapes used are Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, native varieties of the Veronese tradition, grown using organic methods that respect the natural balance of the vineyard. Winemaking involves a manual harvest in mid-September, with rapid harvesting and pressing of the grapes a few hours after harvest. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for approximately 15 days, thus preserving freshness and varietal aromas. The refinement always continues in steel until bottling, keeping intact the fragrance of the wine and its young and immediate imprint.
Characteristics of this wine by Fasoli Gino
On organoleptic examination it appears with a bright, vibrant ruby red color. On the nose it expresses delicate, slightly fruity and floral scents, with notes of wild rose and small red fruits. On the palate it is fresh, flowing and harmonious, with a light structure and a pleasant drinkability that highlights its youthful and fragrant nature.
Recommended pairings with this red wine from Veneto
As for food pairings, it is an extremely versatile wine: it pairs well with light first courses such as tomato pastries, simple soups and risottos, but also with white meats such as chicken and turkey. It is also suitable with freshwater fish, fried vegetables and pizza, thanks to its freshness and low tannicity. The ideal service temperature is between 15 and 18 °C.
