From the "Alzari Alti" and "Alzari Bassi" vineyards located in the Classical hilly area of Castelcerino di Soave at 150 m above sea level, this white wine from the Coffele winery was born. The grape variety used to produce this Soave is Garganega pure and the harvest takes place manually during the month of October: the grapes are collected in 20 kg boxes each to preserve their freshness and aromas until pressed. 40% of the grapes wilt in the fruit shop for about forty days and then ripen in 1500-litre oak for 10 months.
Characteristics of this Soave wine from Cantina Coffele
It has a rich yellow color with golden notes. The olfactory bouquet evokes broom, thyme and yellow peach while on the palate it is dry, enveloping and with a clear flavour. Pleasant persistence in the finale.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Veneto
Try with soups, medium-aged cheeses, fish and white meats. Serve at 11-12°C.
