Nero d'Avola Sàgana of the Cusumano Winery traces its origins to the San Giacomo estate, not far from Caltanissetta. Pure Nero d'Avola grapes are used for its production and are carefully selected during the manual harvest. Once the harvest is over, the steel winemaking phase begins, maturing for a year in large oak barrels. A wine that is truly the emblem of Cusumano, as evidenced by the numerous awards it has received.
Characteristics of this Sicilian wine
It has a dark ruby red color. The olfactory notes are an explosion of blackberry, cherry, purple passita and Mediterranean scrub. Elegant on the palate, full of a thousand facets and with a pleasantly persistent fruity finish.
