RAMUSA is a rosé wine from the Sicilian Cusumano winery made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes: it is a "highland" wine produced at 700-800 m above sea level at Tenuta Ficuzza in Piana degli Albanesi, where it is best expressed thanks to the strong temperature variations that give rise to complex and elegant clusters. After careful manual selection of the bunches during the harvest, cold maceration is carried out for 24 hours, followed by racking and fermentation at controlled temperature. The final stage of refinement requires a 6-month stop on fine lees.
Characteristics of this Ramusa di Cusumano wine
It has a very delicate waxy pink color and impresses with complex and elegant olfactory notes that evoke red fruits, citrus fruits and wild strawberry. On the palate it is fresh, balanced and with a firm persistence.
