The Prosecco DOC Extra Dry PROMOSSO is made from Glera grapes grown in the areas of the Treviso area, an area historically dedicated to the production of Prosecco. Harvest takes place towards the end of September and the grapes are subjected to a soft pressing to preserve their aromas and freshness. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts, while the foaming takes place in an autoclave according to the Martinotti-Charmat Method. The wine is then refrigerated, aged on the yeasts and filtered isobarically before bottling.
Features of this Prosecco Extra Dry
On organoleptic examination it appears with a bright straw yellow colour and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose it offers elegant scents of acacia flowers and wisteria, accompanied by hints of wild apple and mountain honey. On the palate it is velvety, full and savoury, with a pleasant freshness that gives balance and harmony to the sip.
