From pure Primitivo grapes comes to life this red wine from the Apulian winery Vespa Vignaioli, from vineyards located at an altitude of 90 m above sea level on clay soils. The bunches are collected around the middle of September and after the first phase of pygia-shrinking, maceration takes place on the skins for 15 days. After malolactic fermentation in barriques, the final stage of aging is reached, which includes a stop in Never and Troncais barriques for 12 months.
Characteristics of this Salento wine
It has an intense ruby red color with purplish reflections and an olfactory bouquet of berries and spices. On the palate it is soft, drinkable and with a velvety texture.

Excellent with flavorful and particularly elaborate meat dishes, also worth trying with aged cheeses and risottos. Serve at a temperature of 14-16°C.
