This sweet white wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia comes from an ancient grape variety, cultivated since Roman times. The pure Picolit grapes come from the Chiesetta vineyard, located in the municipality of Cividale del Friuli, and are harvested with a late harvest, wilting the grapes on the trellises. This is followed by soft pressing, and the resulting must is clarified by decanting. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 20-22°C in steel is achieved, after which it is then aged for 8-9 months in oak barrels, with frequent handling.
