From vineyards located in an area with a strong tradition linked to Ribolla Gialla, a native grape variety of Friuli, this white wine from the Bosco del Merlo winery is born: the soil characteristics of these soils are optimal for growing this grape variety, which is particularly endowed with freshness and aromatic complexity. The harvest takes place when the grapes reach perfect ripeness, during the first ten days of September. After a short maceration, the must is separated from the husks by gentle pressing. This is followed by low-temperature steel fermentation with aging on the yeasts for a long time before bottling.
Characteristics of this white wine from the Bosco del Merlo Winery
It has a deep straw yellow color: the olfactory notes recall white flowers but also tropical fruit. On the palate it is soft, balanced and with a pleasant mineral component. Excellent persistence.
