SORIA Perricone FIRRIATO

The classification is that of Sicilia DOC. The vinification involves the use of Perricone grapes. The origin is the classic one of the Agro di Trapani in the Baglio Sorìa Estate. The harvest is manual, and falls between the last days of September and the first ten days of October. The vinification involves the use of the traditional method with maceration of the skins, in stainless steel tanks. The aging of the wine takes place in French oak barrels for about 9 months.

Soria Perricone Firriato’s features

An intense red colour. The scent shows strong notes of red fruits, plum and cherry jam, with delicate vegetal notes and spicy notes mainly of juniper and black pepper. The taste on the palate is very elegant, with soft tannins and a long persistence.
