Wine description
From a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet and Sagrantino grapes comes this red wine from the Cesarini Sartori winery. Following the manual harvest of the second half of September, fermentation in steel and subsequent aging in large casks for 6 months.
Characteristics of this wine Montefalco Rosso
It has a ruby red color with purple reflections. The olfactory profile recalls red berry fruits, vanilla notes and hints of undergrowth. On the palate, notes of black cherry, blackberry, currant and black pepper return.
Recommended combinations with this traditional Umbrian wine
To try with traditional dishes based on meat sauce or in general with meat dishes. Excellent also with aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
