Wine description
From a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet and Native grape variety of the area grapes comes this red Montefalco from Cantina Cesarini Sartori. The grapes grown on clay and sandy soils are harvested in the second half of September. The main characteristic of this wine is its long ageing in wooden barrels for 12 months and then in bottle.
Characteristics of this wine Cesarini Sartori
It has a bright ruby red color tending to orange. The olfactory profile evokes black cherry, tobacco, leather and cloves.On the palate it strikes for an elegant tannin, notes of cherry and vanilla.
Recommended to be paired with this red wine
Excellent with grilled meats and roasts, to be tried with aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
