Weinbeschreibung
This Friulian white wine from Zorzettig Winery is made from a blend of Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon and Friulano grapes grown in the estate's vineyards near Spessa. Following manual harvesting, only the best bunches are taken to the cellar for destemming and pressing. This is followed by fermentation in steel, blending and a long final refinement, for 6 months in wood and then a further 6 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Friuli Venezia Giulia wine
It presents a straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Pleasantly fruity on the nose, where notes of apple, peach and citrus emerge; floral notes are also well delineated. The palate is creamy and savoury, with good balance.
Recommended pairings with this Friulian white wine
Try it with fish dishes, white meat or cheese. Serve at a temperature of 10-12 C°.
