Wine description
Pleasantly fruity and fresh, this Friulian white wine from Zorzettig Winery is made from pure Gewurztraminer grapes grown in the Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC area. The bunches harvested during the grape harvest are carefully selected and then brought to the cellar for destemming: this is followed by vinification in steel, where they are also matured for a few months, and finally bottled.
Characteristics of this Friulian wine
To the eye it presents an intense yellow colour. The olfactory profile is dominated by floral notes of rose, lime and artemisia. On the palate it is striking for its excellent persistence and perfect balance.
Recommended pairings with this Friuli white wine
Excellent with fish dishes, also perfect with sushi and sashimi. serve at a temperature of 8-10°C.
