Gewurztraminer Vendemmia Tardiva "Roen" TRAMIN

The smell and the tastes of the Roen of Tramin born in the core of the Alto Adige and it can confers inebriant aromas of the Gewurztraminer grapes with all its contrasts: the charming of the nature and the multisensorial suggestions, the creative precision and production through a constant quality, the capacity of making the system and the creative cooperation. The vineyards are cultivated on pebbly soils which are also calcareous and clay. They are located at Sella a little hamlet of Termeno at 400-500 meters above the sea level. The production area is on the east and south-east sides on the mountain of Roen from which it takes its name. The harvest takes place in the half of October and the grapes used for this wine have to wither in the vineyards until the end of November and the beginning of December. Finally the elevation and the maturation of the wines take place in little French oak barrels.

Characteristics of the Gewürztraminer wine "Roen"

The wine has a wonderful gold intense color almost crystalline with a great consistence. It has warm aromas on an honey background with intense syrup exotic fruits aromas such as raisins and dry apricots. It has also some candied citrons aromas, dry fruits, withered roses, ginger and vanilla. It is sweet and velvety on the palate and it explodes with vivacity by keeping a perfect elegance. A long and refined spicy aroma ends the tasting experience.

Suggested pairings with this Gewürztraminer wine "Roen"

The Roen is perfect for bakery, dry fruits, blue or aged cheeses and fatty liver. It is perfect also alone like meditation wine or to end a spectacular convivial moment. It has to be served at 12°C in a little tapered glasses.
