Wine description
From the use of pure Dolcetto grapes from Monforte d'Alba, this red Piedmontese wine from the Conterno Fantino winery was born. The harvest is carried out manually at the beginning of September, once the bunches have reached optimal ripeness. We then proceed with maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel at controlled temperature and subsequent malolactic fermentation also in steel, where the final refinement phase will also take place.
Features of this Dolcetto d'Alba by Conterno Fantino
It has a deep ruby red color. The olfactory notes evoke spices, red fruits and berries while on the palate it is fresh, jovial and fragrant.
Recommended pairings with this red wine from Piedmont
Excellent with earthenware appetizers, first courses such as lasagna or baked pasta, grilled meats. Serve at 18-20°C.
