Wine description
This Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine from the Apulian winery Due Palme is made exclusively from Negroamaro grapes. The vines are grown on shallow, calcareous clay-loam soils with a good amount of crushed stone. After the grapes are harvested by hand, the free-run juice undergoes alcoholic fermentation, secondary fermentation in autoclaves and maceration on the lees. The final stage of ageing takes place in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Salento rosé sparkling wine
It has a bright pink colour and a persistent perlage. The bouquet is dominated by red fruits such as raspberries and wild strawberries, but also floral notes of rose. On the palate, it is fresh and smooth, with a persistent finish.
Recommended pairings with this Brut rosé wine
Excellent with all fish dishes: crudités, first courses, fried foods. Serve at a temperature of 6-8°C.
