This Salento white wine from Due Palme Winery is made from a blend of Malvasia Bianca and Vermentino grapes grown in the company's vineyards in the provinces of Brindisi and Taranto: the vineyards are planted on deep soils with a good clay content. The harvest in early September is followed by soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15°C in steel. The final stage of ageing also takes place in steel and partly in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Salento white wine
It has a very delicate straw yellow colour that comes from this “pas de deux” between the two grape varieties. The bouquet is reminiscent of exotic fruit and yellow flowers. On the palate, it impresses with its good persistence.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Puglia
