Morellino di Scansano Riserva DOCG "Valentane”, which is often likened to the best kind of Brunello, is surely the best Morellino of Villa Patrizia winery. Malolactic fermentation take place in oak barrels for 18 and 24 months. This wine is released on the market only after a year of bottle refining.
Characteristics of Morellino di Scansano Riserva "Valentane"
It presents a very intense ruby red colour. Its bouquet releases at first mature fruits and herbs notes. Rich, structured and Full-bodied in taste.
Recommended pairings while tasting this Morellino di Scansano
It should be served in a broad crystal wine glass at a temperature of 18-20°C. We suggest to uncork the bottle at least 2 hours before drinking, in order to enhance its qualities. It can be paired with all traditional dishes of Tuscan tradition, tortelli with meat sauce and boar meat.
