Sauvignon VIGNA RIELERHOF DOP Brigl

This Sauvignon from the Brigl Trentino winery comes from 100% Sauvignon blanc grapes grown at the Rielerhof vineyard located at 500 m above sea level, more precisely in Laste Basse-Renon: it is a privileged position for the vineyards both for the climate, characterized by a strong thermal excursion between day and night, and for the composition of the soil, calcareous and gravelly. The harvest involves the manual harvesting of the bunches which are thus placed in the cellar, de-stemmed and softly pressed. The result is a must subjected to cold static clarification and subsequent alcoholic fermentation in steel. In the following months the maturation takes place partly in French oak and partly in steel.

Characteristics of this Trentino wine

The organoleptic examination shows a straw yellow color with a very characteristic olfactory bouquet that recalls tropical fruit. On the palate there is the right balance between acidity and minerality, as well as the same notes of tropical fruit that reach the nose.

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Trentino white wine

Excellent with fish and shellfish, try with white meat too. Serve at a temperature of 10-12 ° C in a tapered glass.
