Rosso Negroamaro del Salento "PORTULANO" ROSA DEL GOLFO

This Rosso Salento Portulano of the Apulian Rosa del Golfo Winery is a red wine obtained with 90% Negroamaro grapes and a small percentage of Malvasia Nera. After the manual harvest, the grapes ferment in steel vats for 6 months and the must thus obtained is then left for 12 months in oak barrels. The refinement in the bottle also has a duration of 12 months.

Characteristics of this Apulian wine

Upon organoleptic examination this Salento wine shows an intense ruby red color; the nose shows aromas of red jams, hints of Mediterranean scrub and balsamic hints. On the palate it is soft, with a good texture and body.

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Apulian wine

Excellent with stewed meats and aged cheeses. To be served at a temperature of 16-18°C in a not very large glass.
