Wine description
From a blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes comes this red wine from the Apulian Varvaglione winery. Following the harvest, vinification involves maceration at a controlled temperature of 26-28 C° with subsequent malolactic fermentation. The final stage of ageing takes at least 3 months in large French barrels.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
It presents itself with a very decisive red colour. The olfactory notes oscillate between ripe fruit, wood and spices. On the palate it is soft and balanced.
Recommended pairings with this Apulian red wine
Try it with red meats and typical Apulian dishes. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 C°.
