Pinot Nero VIGNA HASELHOF DOP Brigl

Pinot Nero Riserva by Brigl prises the DOP denomination. It is produced with 100% Pinot Noir grapes cultivated in Windegg estate, located in the district of Caldaro, in Trentino Alto Adige. Here the lands reach 400 meters elevation above the sea level and the soils are characterized by limestone and gravel, that contribute to the elegant structure of this wine. 8-10 days fermentation in inox at controlled temperature, managed at 22-25°C, followed by malolactic. The aging is developed both in wood and in the bottle.

Feature of Pinot Nero Riserva “Windegg” DOC

Intense and deep ruby red colour. Its perfume is rich of red fruit like blackberries, dark cherries and currant. The taste is intense and characterized by soft tannins that represent all its power.

This Pinot Nero produced by Brigl is perfect with structured preparation of the Italian tradition like red meat, pasta with meat or vegetable sauce. It is great with game and aged cheeses too. It has to be served at 18°C in a wide wine glass that allows the right oxygenation.
