Friulano "Primarul" DOC Venica

Friulano Venica & Venica is the result of 5 months aging in steel on its yeasts. It is a white wine with a defined character that is able to give an expression of its terroir and that is easy to drink. You cannot miss it! 100% Friulano grapes. Their maceration lasts for 18 max 24  hours at 8-10°C. It is managed in specific containers protected by oxygen through the recycling of its fermentation CO2, to reduce the quantity of antioxidants. The must then ferments and ages on its yeasts for 5 months in steel containers.

Features of the white wine “Friulano Venica”

Shiny and clear straw yellow colour. Its perfume is rich of fruits with yellow pulp and citrus fruits that then turn into shades that recall flint and bitter, fresh almond. The taste has a good sourness, it is structured and savoury in the final.

Recommended food pairings while tasting this white wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia

A wine that is extremely versatile. Excellent with “risotto” with asparagus. It has to be served at 8°C in a high, tapered wine glass that helps the diffusion of the perfumes.
