This red wine from Cantina Casa Lupo is made from a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and other varietals. The vineyards are located approximately 450 meters above sea level and benefit from calcareous soils. Harvest takes place in the last two weeks of September in several batches to achieve perfect ripeness. The grapes are then dried in the drying room for 4-5 months, followed by pressing and fermentation using natural yeasts in the winter. The resulting must is racked into 500-1000-liter oak barrels to complete fermentation, and it ages in wood for 30-36 months before bottling.
