Wine description
Vermentino DOC “Sarticola” is a fresh and fruity white wine from Liguria region. Vermentino is often confused with Pigato, but the softness of its taste is unmistakable. After 15 days of fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15-17°C, wine is refined in stainless steel vessels for 5-6 months.
Characteristics of Vermentino Colli di Luni DOC
This excellent wine from Liguria, presents a brilliant straw yellow colour. Rustic and delicate bouquet, characterized by a fruity end. It offers a soft, elegant and “willowy” taste with a velvet and slightly bitter note which returns in the end.
Recommended pairings while tasting this White wine from Liguria
It should be served in a wine glass at a temperature of 10-12°C. This wine suits perfectly trofie al pesto (a typical Italian main course from Liguria region) and fish dishes.
