From a blend of carefully selected red grapes comes the Passito of the Tenuta Ulisse winery in Abruzzo, an expression of the perfect combination of structure, freshness and sweetness. Following the harvest, the grapes are dried on racks, followed by maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature in steel. The final phase of aging requires a first stop in steel and then in barrique.

Characteristics of this Abruzzo passito wine

It has a dark red color and very intense. The olfactory notes of fruit alternate with floral and spicy. The palate is sweet but not cloying, pleasantly balanced.

Recommended pairings with this red wine from Abruzzo

Try it with blue cheeses, cakes made with cream or fruit, dry pastry. Serve at a temperature of 14-16 ºC.
