The Montepulciano D'Abruzzo "Sogno di Ulisse" of Tenuta Ulisse is a wine produced from 100% Montepulciano grapes, grown in the vineyards located near Crecchio, province of Chieti. After the manual harvest, the skins undergo maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel for about 20 days. It is then fermented in steel at a temperature of about 20-25ºC. As for the aging, a part is placed in barriques for 4 months.

On the organoleptic test, this wine from Abruzzo has a ruby red color with violet reflections; on the nose the aroma is very intense, with the typical primary aromas of the grape; in the mouth there is a fruity component, with full body, of strength and balance.

This Montepulciano from Tenuta Ulisse Winery is excellent with pasta dishes based on sauces, roasts and various semi-mature cheeses. The optimal serving temperature is 18ºC in a fairly large glass.
