Taurasi "Vigna VINIERI" DOCG MONTESOLE

Aglianico grapes give life to Taurasi, a red wine that tells the traditions of Irpinia.The bunches of Vigna Vigna Vinieri (baptized with the name of its owner “Viniero”), express the essence of Taurasi. This wine is produced with 100% Aglianico, cultivated in the area of DOCG Taurasi, located 500 meters above the sea level. The manual harvest is planned in the 2nd and 3rd decade of October. The wine-making considers fermentation at controlled temperature and cooled maceration for 14 days. The aging is developed in inox for 6 months, in big barrels and tonneau for 2 years, and continues in the bottle for at least 12 months.

Intense ruby red colour. Its perfume is characterized by dark cherry, black plum, red fruits, vanilla and spices. The taste is rich, dry and structured.

Excellent with main dishes with truffle or mushrooms, game, lamb and aged, sppicy cheeses.. It has to be served at 18°C in a high, wide wine glass that allows the right oxygenation.
