Sauvignon "PRAIL" COLTERENZIO

A sensational Colterenzio white wine typical of the local tradition, made with 100% pure Sauvignon grapes. Vines’ origin is the classic one of Alto Adige, which hills are between 400 and 500 meters above sea level, characterized by moraine soils rich in minerals. Vinification involves controlled fermentation at 18°C in steel for about 14 days. Only part of the must ferments in large wooden vats, the rest remains in steel. After 6 months of separate maturation on fine lees, wine is carefully assembled and bottled.

Sauvignon Prail’s features

A bright yellow color with greenish reflections, scent is characterized by the intense fruity notes of elderberry, acacia flowers and sage. Taste is purely fresh with a light mineral aftertaste.

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Sauvignon Prail

A wine particularly suitable for dishes based on asparagus or with fish seasoned in aromatic herbs. Excellent as an aperitif too. The optimal serving temperature is 10°C in a tall and tapered glass.
