Riesling MESDI’ "GERRY SCOTTI" DOC GIORGI

The production zone of this sensational wine of Lombardy is the classical one of Oltrepò Pavese. It is produced with 100% Riesling variety. The versions called “Nato in Vigna” are produced by Gerry Scotti and bottled by Giorgi. Gerry’s brand is autobiographical, as the tv host told during the press conference for the presentation of his line of products. His mother, pregnant, started his labour under the pomegranates next to the vineyards where her husband and her father-in-law worked. “Riesling Mesdì” is a plain white wine, fresh, fruity and characterized by a little quantity of sugar that makes it pleasant. Hints of yellow flowers and peach that are the result of a brief maceration on skins make it harmonious and soft.

Straw yellow colour enriched by the typical sensations of Riesling, characterized by peach and flowers. Its taste expresses a perfect balance between sourness and minerality, joined to softness and sweetness.

Excellent with fish, white meat and traditional local dishes. Highly suggested with pizza. It has to be served at 10°C in a high, wide wine glass.
