A classical sparkling wine of the tradition of Lombardy produced in the area of Oltrepò Pavese. It is a blend composed by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, cultivated on soils full of clay and limestone, located at 250-400 meters on the sea level. This “Oltrepò Pavese Extra Brut” produced by Giorgi belongs to the labels “Gerry Scotti” and follows the rules of “Metodo Classico”, resting on its yeasts in the bottle for at least 30 months. This article is able to give satisfaction especially during happy hours. Perfect with “sea” starters like sliced octopus.
Features of this Spumante Extra Brut
Intense straw yellow colour with gold reflections and faint perlage. Its perfume is rich and fruity, with hints of yellow fruit, yeast, vanilla and aromatic herbs. The taste is dry, fresh, soft, harmonious and dynamic.
Recommended food pairings while tasting this Sparkling wine
Perfect for happy hours and ideal for sliced octopus. It has to be served fresh at 10°C in a high, tapered wine glass.
