Weinbeschreibung

Cultivated in Alto Adige since the 19thcentury, this white wine is today  one of the most diffused in the territory.  Its variety grows up in all the production zones of the province of Bolzano, but prefers high lands, between 300-500 meters. Our classic Pinot Bianco is produced with grapes coming from selected vineyards in Magrè, Cortaccia, Salorno, Pochi and Tesimo. With its features, it is able to express all the different shades of Alto Adige. The wine making considers the use of Pinot Bianco grapes, 100% coming from selected vineyards in Magrè, Cortaccia, Salorno, Pochi and Tesimo, cultivations placed 300-500 meters on the sea level. Here the lands are rich of gravel, sands and limestone. The age of the vines can reach 63 years old and the harvest is planned in September, touching sometimes also the first week of October. It is followed by the fermentation at controlled temperature in steel. This process is then concluded by the aging on yeasts, managed in the same containers, where the wine rest for at least 4 months.

The organoleptic aspect is shiny, clear, green with some yellow shades. The Perfume is rich of delicate aromas mixed together:  floral bouquet, fruity hints, apple, pear, citrus fruits. The taste is quite structured, balanced, fruity, fresh and dry.

 

Recommended food pairings

This traditional wine of Trentino matches perfectly with light starters, salads, artichokes, freshwater fishes, crustaceans and chicken. It has to be served at 10° C in a high and wide wine glass.
