A millesimato with an important structure thanks to the long fermentation of 30 months on the yeasts. This Franciacorta Rosa is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from Borgonato di Corte Franca, Torbiato di Adro, and Provaglio d'Iseo: the vineyards face south/southeast at an altitude of 250 m above sea level. After the manual harvesting of the bunches, the complex winemaking process proceeds: Chardonnay and part of the Pinot Noir are vinified in white, the remaining part of the Pinot Noir in rosé. The draft takes place in the spring following the harvest.
Features of this Franciacorta Rosè
It strikes with a bright pink color with coppery reflections. The olfactory notes are pleasantly fruity, with hints of red fruits that then return to the palate where this Franciacorta is perfectly balanced.
Recommended pairings with this Freccianera wine
Excellent with seafood dishes: hot appetizers, smoked fish, mussels, and squid ink linguine. Try it with sushi and tartare too. Serve at 8-10°C.
