This great wine was born to compete with the best white wine of the world: this was the initial project. In the 90’s began the experiment on Fiano, an ancient variety that belongs to Campania. Cometa expresses the original and unique features of this wine variety. Intense and fruity scents, great structure and minerality make him one of the best whites of Sicily and all southern Italy. It is produced with 100% Fiano grapes. The manual harvest and the soft pressing are followed by fermentation, managed for the 90% in inox and for the 10% in barriques. After a period of aging on lees, the wine is ready to be bottled.

Straw yellow colour enriched by herbal scents surrounded by exotic fruits and Mediterranean sensations. Its elegant taste is characterized by minerality. Balanced and persistent in the final.

Excellent for happy hours or with fish, like carpaccio, oysters or prawns with saffron. You can drink it young or appreciate its evolution after 15 years. It has to be served at 8°C.
