Wine description
This white wine from the Sardinian winery Giuseppe Sedilesu is made exclusively from Granatza di Marmoiada, a native white grape variety. The grapes are harvested in September, pressed and left to ferment naturally in steel vats at a temperature of 19°C. The final stage of maturation takes place in steel tanks for a period of 8 months. This is followed by further ageing in the bottle for one year.
Characteristics of this Sardinian wine
It has a straw yellow colour and aromas of citrus fruits, Mediterranean scrub and spices. On the palate, it is fresh, savoury and long-lasting.
Recommended pairings with this white wine by Giuseppe Sedilesu
Excellent with fish appetisers, fried and grilled dishes, white meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°C.
