This red wine from Cantina Anselmi comes from the pure vinification of Cabernet Sauvignon. It is an international grape variety, which for years has become indigenous in this area of Veneto, where it has found excellent climatic and geomorphological conditions. The grapes' provenance is typical of company boundaries, particularly in the municipality of Monteforte d'Alpone-Dugale Realda. After the slightly late harvest,winemaking involves pressing, scraping and fermentation at 28°C with maceration for about ten days, malolactic in Allier barriques and final aging for 18 months.
Characteristics of the "Realda"
On organoleptic examination the wine appears with a bright and intense ruby red appearance. The scent is the classic one of ripe currants and berries generally open the entrance to the nose, later characterised by hints of black pepper, tobacco and walnut. The taste is broad and returns vegetal notes complete the olfactory picture. The sip is warm and velvety in tannic texture, good body and good length.
Recommended pairings when tasting this Veneto wine
An excellent wine with meat-based second courses. Try it with veal stew. The optimum service temperature is 16°C.
