Weinbeschreibung
"Assunto" Rosso di Montalcino is produced from Sangiovese Grosso grapes on vineyards 500 meters above sea level. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and the fermentation takes place in contact with the skins for about 25 days. It is then aged for 20 months in French oak barrels before bottling.

Intense ruby red color. The nose hints of strawberries and berries. A wine with a good structure and flavor, intense and elegant.

Excellent with pasta with meat sauce, roasted meat and medium-aged cheeses. To be served at a temperature of 16ºC in a glass not very wide.
