Wine description
From a small area in Maremma, between the Ombrone and Albegna rivers comes this Tuscan red wine from Famiglia Falorni Winery. The grapes used for this wine is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot which are hand-picked and fermented in steel at a controlled temperature. Final aging with short passage in barrique before being bottled.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
With a ruby red color tending towards garnet, on the nose it impresses with an intense scent of berries and purple. On the palate it is complex, warm, with soft tannins and a persistent finish.
Recommended pairings with this Morellino di Scansano
Perfect with meat dishes like pasta with ragù, roasts, steaks. Also great with cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
