This Chianti Classico DOCG from Famiglia Falorni Winery comes from a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes; this red wine is produced from carefully selected grapes grown in Chianti Classico vineyards, the oldest part of Chianti. To make it, we proceed with the traditional red winemaking method: once harvested by hand, the grapes ferment in steel at a controlled temperature for a long maceration with the skins. Aged in barriques for 8 months and finally in bottle for another 3 months.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
It has a ruby red color tending towards garnet. The olfactory notes are fruity and resemble cherry, wild red berries but also flowers such as violet and rose. Full-bodied on the palate, with a tendency towards great harmony if aged for a few years.
Recommended pairings with this Tuscan red wine
Try it with red meat and game: cut meat, roasts, grills, and aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
